Wonder Project

The global faith and values-driven audience is massive, yet they remain profoundly underserved by mainstream Hollywood. For decades, families seeking high-quality, theatrical entertainment that genuinely reflects their core beliefs have been met with a lack of options or content that misunderstands and misrepresents their worldview. Recognizing this profound cultural gap, acclaimed filmmaker Jon Erwin (director of Jesus Revolution) and former Netflix and YouTube executive Kelly Merryman Hoogstraten teamed up to launch The Wonder Project. Backed by industry heavyweights and advised by Dallas Jenkins (creator of The Chosen), The Wonder Project is a transformative independent studio building an entirely new cinematic ecosystem.

By empowering top-tier creatives with unprecedented freedom and resources, they produce premium, values-driven film and television designed to compete at the highest levels of mainstream entertainment. An example of this commitment is their acclaimed flagship series, House of David. To further expand reach, the company recently launched The Wonder Project streaming platform, a dedicated subscription service on Prime Video offering an ad-free, family-friendly library of curated titles and exclusive early access to original content. Furthermore, they are pushing the boundaries of modern filmmaking with Innovative Dreams, an AI production lab developed in partnership with Luma AI and backed by AWS. This joint venture integrates generative AI models directly into virtual production pipelines, allowing the studio to create large-scale, visually stunning historical epics without the prohibitive costs of traditional VFX.

Cubit invested in The Wonder Project as a part of our commitment to sharing truth and inspiring hope. By delivering stories that actively celebrate faith, family, and community, The Wonder Project provides audiences with a trusted brand they can call their own, proving world-class entertainment can be a powerful engine for human flourishing.
