Exterior cleaning and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure is a highly hazardous industry, historically relying on workers risking their lives on precarious scaffolding, ladders, or swing stages. While in college, founder Andrew Ashur watched window washers violently swinging in the wind on a high-rise and realized technology had to provide a safer alternative. He founded Lucid Bots to pull humans out of these life-threatening situations. Lucid Bots designs and manufactures AI-powered, modular cleaning drones and ground robots that pressure wash and soft wash building exteriors, stadiums, and roofs up to 20 times faster than manual methods, all while the operator stands safely on the ground.

Lucid Bots’ use of innovation as a means of promoting human dignity and safety aligns with Cubit’s mission. By automating the most dangerous, dull, and dirty jobs, Lucid Bots not only addresses critical labor shortages but fundamentally protects the dignity and physical safety of the workforce.
