Aerospace manufacturing and maintenance are critically dependent on manual labor for repetitive, dangerous, and highly precise tasks like drilling and riveting. Traditional industrial robotics are rigid, prohibitively expensive, and require massive factory reconfigurations, making automation inaccessible for many facilities and leaving the U.S. aerospace supply chain vulnerable to labor shortages. While pursuing his MBA at UT Austin, founder Will Wilder realized that the aerospace industry didn't need bigger robots; it needed more adaptable ones. He launched Wilder Systems to deliver agile, collaborative robotic automation without the massive upfront capital. Utilizing a "Robots as a Service" model, Wilder deploys modular, mobile robotic platforms—like their Agile Manufacturing Robot (AMR)—that seamlessly integrate into existing factory floors to automate complex tasks with unprecedented precision.
