A critical problem and a clear solution– Reframe Systems is setting out to tackle the housing crisis with robots in tow.
After former Amazon robotics leader Vikas Enti welcomed his twin daughters into the world, it all changed. That deeply human moment prompted introspection on how to marry his robotics expertise with the call to better society — specifically the housing crisis. Yes, today’s housing crisis — where prices are sky-high, construction is slow, labor is scarce, and families are struggling to find homes they can actually afford.
Alongside his two former Amazon Robotics colleagues, Felipe Polido and Aaron Small, Enti founded Reframe Systems with the mission to unlock resilient housing to more Americans than ever before. They’re not just building homes — they’re rethinking how and why we build at all.
And that’s the kind of vision Cubit Capital can get behind.
At Cubit, we support courageous leaders building businesses that address critical problems in innovative and significant ways. Vikas Enti and his team personify the courage it takes to advance human flourishing with both innovation and purpose. We are thrilled to partner with Reframe Systems as they focus on the “missing middle” — not luxury condos, not government housing, but real, high-performance homes for working families. How they’re doing it? By developing low-cost robotic microfactories to build and retrofit net-zero homes 2x faster and 2x cheaper.
The company’s model boasts a proprietary platform that combines:
- Software-driven design that ensures code compliance for any of the 30,000+ U.S. jurisdictions.
- Matrix Manufacturing — a flexible, intelligent factory system that replaces the inefficiencies of traditional assembly lines.
- Microfactories — deployable in 100 days, each capable of producing 400 homes per year.
Reframe currently serves New England and Southern California with plans to expand into new markets in 2026 and beyond. This strategy centers on deploying additional microfactories in response to validated demand rather than speculative building — a testament to the team’s commitment to building and serving with efficiency, as well as purpose.
With a goal of building one million homes by 2045, Cubit is excited to walk alongside Reframe as they set out to solve the housing crisis by rebuilding the system itself.
